Capcom’s classic Ghosts ‘n Goblins is currently free to PlayStation Plus subscribers – TheSixthAxis


This seems to have not been publicised anywhere but if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber you can grab Capcom’s arcade classic Ghosts ‘n Goblins for free, right now. The game is a pack for the Capcom Arcade Stadium, which is also free so you will need to download both. Here are the links for the UK Store:

The Arcade Stadium player lets you play classic arcade games and includes some extra features such as a rewind facility, online leaderboards, display frames, and even cheat modes that let you toggle on invincibility. You can also save and load the games at any point your want,

“Game speed can be adjusted on the fly during gameplay, so you can play at a normal speed and only slow down when you need to, or speed up briefly and blast through the sections you’ve mastered,” say Capcom.

Ghost ‘n Goblins Resurrection, a new take on the classic game has recently launched on Switch and it has just been announced that ports for PS4, Xbox One, and PC are on the way and will be arriving soon. Like, next week, on June 1st. The game includes local co-op for some couch goblin action.
