Is Elden Ring on PlayStation? Many players are excited for the newest game from the creator of Dark Souls, slated to release on Jan. 21, 2022. Like most titles, it will be available on PlayStation.

During Elden Ring’s official reveal at the Summer Games Fest, FromSoftware confirmed it will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can pre-order the game for PlayStation and Xbox now.

PS4 owners looking to get their hands on a PS5 don’t need to worry about buying Elden Ring twice, because the game can be upgraded from PS4 to PS5 for free. The game also supports Smart Delivery for Xbox owners.

Elden Ring is a collaboration between Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and author George R. R. Martin. It promises a Souls-like experience with a fully integrated four-player multiplayer system, and a rich world with lots of narrative depth. Players looking forward to a crossplay feature might be disappointed though, as there was no mention of crossplay during the reveal.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will be hosting an E3 2021 on June 15, so players can keep on the lookout for new information. There’s lots to be excited about, and hopefully Elden Ring can match players’ high expectations upon release.
