MUSKOGEE, Okla. — A Muskogee child had a lemonade stand Sunday to raise money after a recent purchase on PlayStation.
Charles Zylak says his girlfriend’s son used his debit card to buy Mortal Combat 11 for $60.
He did it without Zylak knowing.
Zylak says he wanted the 11-year-old to learn a valuable lesson about the consequences of stealing, so he asked the child to have a lemonade stand to raise the money to pay him back.
Zylak says the child made more than enough money to pay for the game just in a couple of hours.
Even Muskogee police officers stopped by to show support for the boy who worked to fix his wrongdoing.
